Meet Laura Rabell
Chief Creativity Officer at Rabell Creative
Laura is an experienced digital marketing strategist and the founder of Rabell Creative.
She graduated with honors from the University of West Florida in Pensacola with a degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities. Since earning her Google Partner certification in 2014, she has specialized in designing WordPress websites and helping nonprofits go digital to reach more people and do more good with the Google Ad Grant.
Laura is passionate about amplifying each nonprofit organization’s mission and message in the digital world. She also enjoys giving back to the open source WordPress community and has been invited to speak at industry conferences such as WordCamp Boston and WordCamp Raleigh on topics related to running a successful web design agency. She enjoys mentoring other aspiring web developers and also volunteering to help nonprofits with their technology through Apparo.
Staying active in the community, Laura was one of the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) official Faces of Hope for the 2020 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Nashville; plans fundraising events for organizations such as MusiCares, Music Health Alliance and Gideon’s Army; and volunteers with Hands On Nashville.
During her time in Charlotte, North Carolina, she previously served four years as the event chair for the MS Society's annual Great Gatsby Gala; chaired the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event; served as a weekly mentor at the Thompson Orphanage; ran in the Chicago Marathon to benefit Hope Worldwide; co-founded the MS Movers & Shakers young professionals of the MS Society; served the Charlotte Junior Chamber as Chair of Community Development; served on the inaugural committee for CreativeMornings/Charlotte; volunteered at Jonathan Fields’ Camp Good Life Project (GLP); and more.
In a previous role as Director of Client Services in the wealth management industry, she was recognized with a Community Leadership Award by the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation and Investment News magazine in honor of her volunteer work with the MS Society and rang the opening bell at the NASDAQ stock exchange.
After growing up in Pensacola, Florida, and working in Charlotte, North Carolina, for more than ten years, she now resides in Nashville, Tennessee, and nurtures a lifelong love of music by writing songs, singing and playing the guitar in her spare time.
